  • Overview

    Join Aveshka, Inc. in supporting 24/7/365 wach operations for the National Cybersecurity & Communications Integration Center (NCCIC) within DHS, which serves as a centralized location where operational elements involved in cybersecurity and communications reliance are coordinated and integrated. NCCIC partners include all federal departments and agencies (including state, local, tribal, and territorial governments); the private sector; and international entities.  Activities include providing greater understanding of cybersecurity and communications situational awareness vulnerabilities, intrusions, incidents, mitigation, and recovery actions.



    • Execution of established incident management processes
    • Entry and tracking of reported incidents in ticketing system from initial report to resolution
    • Conducting initial triage for routing to appropriate NCCIC response component
    • Analyze reports on key metrics related to the quality and effectiveness of the workflows in NCCIC incident management processes
    • Prepare routine and ad hoc status briefings
    • Support NCCIC crisis management operations under the National Cyber Incident Response Plan
    • Coordinate with watch operations, incident handlers, and analytical teams in tracking and resolving incidents


    Required Education:


    Bachelor's degree required 


    Required Experience:


    3+ years of relevant experience:

    • Call center and service desk operations 
    • Incident management / response process
    • Experience with ticketing systems such as Remedy 


    Required Clearance:


    Active TS/SCI


    Desired Qualifications:


    • Knowledge of service delivery fundamentals such as ITIL 
    • Knowledge of information security management best practices such as ISO 27001, NIST Risk Management Framework, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and FISMA
