  • Overview

    Aveshka is seeking IT Program Analyst to support Customs and Border Protection (CBP’s) Office of Information and Technology (OIT) in the updating its business model to better exploit technologies that are more flexible, responsive, scalable, reliable, secure and affordable.


    We are looking for an experienced IT Program Analyst to support CBP OIT’s Transformation Support and Management Division (TSMD) by performing the following tasks:

    • Develop and maintain IT service documentation and support enterprise service management and continuous improvement.
    • Develop and/or monitor policy, governance and compliance documents for enterprise level services.
    • Develop and monitor enterprise services key performance measures.
    • Support enterprise service management efforts, including support and leadership of a service management community of interest to leverage lessons learned across enterprise service areas.


    Required Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in related field and 3-5 years’ experience, or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.



    Position Requirements and Experience:

    • Experience analyzing, documenting, and improving IT service processes

    • Experience reporting and briefing Senior IT Management

    • Strong working knowledge of industry standard ITSM tools (e.g., Remedy and Service Now)

    • Experience with IT Shared Services and Shared Cost Models

    • Excellent communication skills - clear and concise writing and oral skills are crucial to the ability to obtain and disseminate information


    Required Clearance:

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DHS/CBP security clearance


    Desired Qualifications:


    • Strong Excel and interactive data visualization tool skills
    • Experience supporting business process management/improvement initiatives
    • Experience with high-level client interaction.
    • Knowledge of DevOps
    • ITIL Intermediate Certification or above, CMMI Service, ISO20000, or other relevant certifications.
    • ITIL Foundations Certification
    • Prior DHS/CBP experience
