    The National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center (NCCIC), a division of the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) National Protection and Program Directorate’s (NPPD) Office of Cybersecurity and Communications (CS&C), operates at the intersection of the private sector, civilian, law enforcement, intelligence, and defense communities.  The NCCIC employs unique analytic perspectives, shared situational awareness, and coordinates synchronized response efforts to protect our Nation’s critical infrastructure, key resources, economy, and national security from cyber threats.

    The selected applicant will become part National Cyber Exercise Planning Program (NCEPP) which operates as a program within the NCCIC and improves the Nation’s cyber security readiness, protection, and incident response capabilities through cyber exercises and workshops at the Federal, State, Local, International and industry sector levels.

    A member of a team that will collaborate with exercise organizations across DHS; other Federal departments and agencies; state, territorial and local governments, private sector coordination councils and associations, and international partners to prepare, conduct, analyze and report on exercises for cyber incident response.


    Program Management Analys is responsible for creating budget and program reports within the Program Management Office for the National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center (NCCIC), on a weekly ,monthly and quarterly basis. Responsible for tracking and maintaining cybersecurity emergency preparedness data for over 60 cybersecurity exercises that are executed both nationally and internationally. Briefing senior staff members on the status of upcoming/ongoing exercises that are scheduled to take place or that have been conducted.

    Task include:

    • Maintaining and gathering cybersecurity exercise based metrics used to draft weekly, monthly and annual reports requested by senior staff.
    • Organizing and monitoring the shared Cyber Exercise Planning (CEP) mailbox, by archiving appropriate emails to respective members of senior staff.
    • Assemble documents and creating documents to support the exercises.
    • Assist in developing training objectives of key constituencies and cyber response organizations.
    • Assist with creating/producing program reports to show NCEPP value to stakeholders. e.g. annual program review; weekly and monthly operations reports; and additional data calls from DHS.


    Required Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of equivalent 



    Required Experience:

    • Minimum of 1 year of work experience


    Required Clearance:
    • Interim or active secret clearance or higher (active preferred).
    • Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability
    • Must be US citizen (as required by contract).



    Desired Qualificatoins:

    • Advanced Cyber Training or credentials preferred.
    • Proficient with MS Office Suite - Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
    • Must have strong writing skills and communication skills
